Typecast Terms of Use

Effective October 1, 2026

These Terms govern Typecast on the web and in apps, provided by Funzai LLC (“Funzai,” “we,” “us”). By using Typecast, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Typecast. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian’s permission to agree; Typecast is not intended for children under 13.

1. Accounts and access

You may play as a guest where offered. Keep your account credentials secure and give accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable care. Accounts and access are personal and may not be sold or transferred. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate access for fraud, cheating, abuse, security risks, unlawful activity, or material breach of these Terms. We may remove unlawful or abusive submissions. You can request account deletion in the app through Delete account, or from the account deletion section of our Privacy Policy. Deleting an account can permanently remove progress and entitlements associated with it; cancel any subscription separately first.

2. The game and in-game items

We grant you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to use Typecast for its intended purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable store rules. We own the game, software, content, marks, and scoring systems. Do not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, exploit, interfere with, or use automated tools against the service except where law expressly permits. You may submit words and feedback; you grant us a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to process, store, analyze, and use your submissions to operate, evaluate, secure, improve, and promote Typecast, subject to our Privacy Policy. Do not submit material you lack the right to use or personal information you do not want processed.

Scores and judge responses are automated, subjective game decisions. They may differ between attempts or change as we update the evaluator. We do not promise any particular score, clear, outcome, or uninterrupted availability. Appeals or review features, when offered, are part of the game and do not guarantee a different result. In-game currency, hints, and other virtual items have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for money, and are licensed for use in Typecast; they are not your property. We may adjust gameplay and virtual-item rules prospectively, subject to applicable law and the terms presented at purchase.

3. Purchases and subscriptions

The purchase screen controls the plan, features, price, currency, billing interval, and any offer. Subscriptions renew automatically at the stated price and interval until canceled. Cancel before the next renewal to avoid a further charge. Prices and taxes may vary by platform and location. We may change offerings or future prices with notice and any consent required by law or the billing platform. Purchases are tied to the applicable billing account; access across devices or platforms may require signing into the same Typecast account and restoring or linking a purchase. Do not buy the same plan twice through different stores if you need only one subscription.

Canceling generally stops the next renewal; access usually continues until the end of the paid period unless the billing platform or applicable law provides otherwise. Uninstalling the app or deleting your Typecast account does not cancel a subscription. Platform refund rules and nonwaivable legal rights apply; we do not promise refunds for used virtual items or partly used periods beyond those rules and rights.

4. Availability, warranties, and liability

We may modify, pause, or discontinue features, content, or access. Where a change materially reduces paid benefits, we will provide any notice, remedy, or refund required by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Typecast is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of uninterrupted service, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement. Nothing here excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, or lost data. Our aggregate liability arising from Typecast in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of USD 25 or the amount you paid for Typecast in that period. These limits do not apply where prohibited, including to liability that cannot legally be limited for fraud, willful misconduct, personal injury, or mandatory consumer remedies.

5. Changes and disputes

We may revise these Terms. Changes take effect when posted with an updated date, or later if stated. For material changes, we will give reasonable notice and seek consent where required; changes do not retroactively remove rights already accrued. Georgian law governs to the extent permitted, and disputes may be brought before competent courts in Georgia, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections or courts available under their local law. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

For support or a complaint, email support@playtypecast.com; we aim to acknowledge complaints within 10 business days and explain any further steps. You may also use any applicable consumer authority or dispute-resolution body.
